• Joined company as part of trainee program for graduates, spending 3 months learning new skills in DevOps, data engineering and process automation.
• Worked in team developing a process automation tool for a major financial services provider, working with Flowable and Java to develop the app as well as creating automated tests in Gatling and Playwright.
• Moved into testing-focus role with a major IoT provider, designing tests and test specifications for a complex Azure-based system, and prototyping “part-automated” tests to increase the speed of hardware-dependent tests.
• Designed and prototyped a reusable automated testing specification for Flowable-based projects, in order to ensure that all process automation projects are built to the same high standard.
• Worked entirely in German-speaking projects, gaining confidence as a communicator in a second language and improving to B2/C1 standard.
